A trip from Delhi, the capital of the country, to the region of Rajasthan and Jaipur, its most famous city. And finally to the incomparable Agra with the beautiful Taj Mahal.

Travel program

Day 1 - Delhi
Arrival late evening in Delhi, meeting with our local representatives, transfer and hotel accommodation. Overnight stay.

Day 2 - Delhi
The day will be spent visiting the most important places of Delhi: India Gate and the government buildings, Humayun's Tomb and the Qutub Minar, the Jamia Masjid mosque and the market of Chandni Chowk.

Day 3 - Delhi/Mandawa
Departure for Mandawa which is famous for its haveli and its castle that is among the most characteristic of India.

Day 4Mandawa/Bikaner
After breakfast we will depart for the city of Bikaner which is walled with red sandstone. On the way we will  visit the charming Temple of Karni Mata, "the temple of mice, considered the reincarnation of people who lived in the past. We will visit the Junagarh Fort and its museum.

Day 5 - Bikaner/Jaipur
After breakfast we will transfer to Jaipur which is the capital of Rajasthan and also known as "The Pink City" because of the colour of the houses in the old part of the city. We will visit the  'Hawa Mahal, the palace of the winds and the palace of the Maharaja (City Palace), largely converted into a museum. We will stop at the nearby astronomical observatory.

Day 6 - Jaipur
The morning will be spent visiting the city and the Amber Fort, the imposing fortress of Rajput civilization, which is 11 km from Jaipur. To get to the top of the building elephants will be mounted through the old path of Maharaj.

Day 7 - Jaipur/Agra
Departure for Agra with a stop at Fatehpursikri, an abandoned city of the  Mughal era. In the afternoon  we will arrive in Agra and view the Taj Mahal, the mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan to commemorate his wife's death and became the symbol of India.

Day 8 - Agra/Delhi
You will visit the Red Fort, built in red sandstone between 1565 and 1574. You will return to Delhi and in the evening transfer to the airport for a flight back.

The cost of the package does not include international air passage to reach India. This is in view of the continuous revision of fares and great deals that many airlines offer in certain periods or special occasions.
